Sensible Drinking

To be healthy does not mean that you cannot have a drink; the key is to be sensible and have the right amount.

This sensible drinking means not regularly drinking more than the following amounts which are:

•             Men: 3 – 4 units a day

•             Women: 2 – 3 units a day

Our top tips for sensible drinking are:

•             Don’t binge drink

•             Alternate alcoholic drinks with non-alcoholic drinks

•             Try having some alcohol free days each week

•             Don’t drink on an empty stomach

Did you know?
